2018 recap and looking forward to 2019!
A very happy new year to all fans, and followers, of Stoney Broke. Each and every one of you has made this year extra special! Here is a recap of the year, posted by Stoney Broke on Facebook earlier today;
"2018 recap!
I've been blown away by the level of support from the crowds I have met at festivals, support slots, and that have come to support my own solo shows. It is always humbling to hear the positive feedback about my tracks, and that people stop to chat at the end of each show.
This year has taken me from Dundee (Almost Blue festival) to Scarborough (Scarborough TOP SECRET Blues Festival), Bowness (Bowness Bay Blues festival) to Colne (Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival) totalling thousands of miles of travel to perform.
I've been lucky to share the stage with my good friends Wille and the Bandits, Chantel McGregor, Sean Webster Band, Geoff Achison, Johnny Dickinson, and The Quireboys - This Is Rock And Roll at different venues across the UK, and The DOGZ, and Chasin' the Train, closer to home.
The wonderful blues clubs of Sedgefield Rock and Blues Club, Saltburn Blues Club, Edinburgh Blues Club, and Darlington R&B Club continue to showcase some of the finest acts around, and even let me play too!
Thanks to Darran Moore Photography,for allowing me to use his fantastic images for my artwork, Stuart Stott, John Finlayson, Colin Mcneillie, and Waysted Photography for the wonderful photographs! (I almost look professional!)
Lastly a HUGE thanks to New Hellfire Club Glasgow, Small Town Sounds, WePrinting - personalised gifts for her or him, Country Gigs Scotland, all of the wonderful radio stations for the airplay, Circa 16 Sound Recording, Meeker Rosco, Christine Moore (and Tony), Kerrianne Atkinson, and everyone who has made this year extra special. (the list is endless!)
I'll be announcing all of my dates for next year very soon, but until then, have a safe and happy 2019!
