Spirit of Burns lives on at BBS!
The Big Burns Supper of 2019 is now well underway, with headline act KT Tunstall wowing crowds on launch night, which has seen Dumfries engulfed by musical talent! Stoney Broke took to the festival hub stage on both Saturday (7pm) and Sunday (2pm) promising two, largely, different set lists.
Saturday evening saw Stoney Broke wedged between Dumfries/Carlisle blues act Redfish, and Cumbrian quartet Loose Cargo, no easy feat for an acoustic act on an already rowdy evening. Sunday saw a change of pace, with many already feeling the effects of the festivities, with Stoney Broke appearing after excellent local act Kasama, and before crowd pleasing Jukebox bingo!
Both sets proved to be a great success, with the Saturday set documented with fantastic pictures from Rachel French Photography (images below), with superb crowd reaction to tracks including "Champagne, Lights + Whiskey", "The Curse, and "Nothin' But The Truth".
Stoney Broke will be appearing at the Coach and Horses, this Sunday (3rd of February), as part of the festival Fringe events, with a start time of 2pm.
Please check out the Stoney Broke Instagram page for more pictures from the weekend, and don't forget to like/share/subscribe across all media pages, with new content coming very soon.
